Working with CI really helped me gain the necessary tools to come back and work on improvement work in my department. Working in CI gave me the opportunity to be a part of the Better Care Victoria partnership, but it also opened up more opportunities locally…. Improvement work such as the communication toolkit or wait list validation project, and taking some skills and philosophies from CI and embedding them within the Specialist Clinics. I think our department is getting more familiar with CI and are more on-board with change. We’re getting more people stepping up, pointing things out and developing working groups to work on persistent problems identified by the team.
